Mens O50s tennis team competing for GB in Turkey

Following on from the success of the Oxshott Mens O50s tennis team in 2024 in winning the Seniors title for GB, they qualified to represent GB in the 2025 Euros Interclub championships finals.

The tournament was held in Megasaray tennis academy in Turkey at the end of October. However, with a number of the usual players unable to commit to playing it gave some other club members the opportunity to represent Oxshott/GB.

Brad Koen led a team of Ross Hunt, Tim Stotesbury, Andrew Stephen and Daniel Lopez. They knew it was going to be a tough week, especially as they only had 5 players - who between them had to play singles and doubles, against other teams including Italy, Germany and Turkey. But they had a great time battling some tough opposition.

And to top it off the team got a crucial win at the end of the week to end up well into the top 10 club in Europe!
